I took the time to tell a rhyme
To sing a song that sounds superb
To make a picture out of a thousand words
I took the time to tell a tall tale
Not to mislead you but to concede you
To grant you entrance into my world
To open the groaning gate guarded by my guile
Yes my clever wit is the lever to grip
To reach this winding walkway of weird wayward ramblings
To go left you must go right and to go right you must go up
To go up and you must dance and to go down prance
But if you stay too long you’ll go mad
To exit saunter south slowly singing soundly
But slowly move quickly for the lowly gate is tricky
If it knows you’re coming it will close: clank, clutter, bang
And if it does, tell it this story…
